North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge is the only resort on Cli Lake in the Mackenzie Mountains, Northwest Territories. The main lodge, housekeeping cabins and sauna are log buildings handcrafted from locally harvested timber. Many of the furnishings that complete the lodge were also handcrafted by local people using traditional tools and techniques.

The main lodge features six comfortable and private guest rooms with accommodation for 12 to 18 guests. The lodge features a large open concept dining and living area. The deck provides a spectacular view of Cli Lake and the imposing rock face on the opposite shore.

Guests seeking more private accommodation can choose their own log or plywood cabin nestled below towering cliffs. There are two picturesque housekeeping cabins, each accommodating four to six persons for larger groups. Extra accommodation is available in snug tent frames.

Unwind in the lodge’s sauna or hot tub or relax by the cozy woodstove in the main lodge and share the day's stories with your companions or other guests.

North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge offers our guests hearty and delicious, home-style cooking served buffet style. Our menu features local Dene cuisine such as stews and bannock, homemade soups and freshly caught whitefish or lake trout. Our menu also features western style dishes served with a combination of fresh green salads and vegetables. If requested, a menu plan can be prepared for our guests’ approval. Special dietary needs can be satisfied with advance notice.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the lodge’s dining room. Snacks and refreshments are also provided throughout the day. All of our refreshments are non-alcoholic as North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge is not a licensed facility. Guests are welcome to provide their own alcoholic beverages and we will ensure that they are chilled or served with your meals.
