North Nahanni Jet Boat Tour
Explore the Mighty Mackenzie, North Nahanni and Ram Rivers (5 nights/6 days).
Our jet boat tour includes three nights of touring and camping on the Mackenzie, North Nahanni and Ram Rivers followed by two nights at the lodge on Cli Lake. The jet boat tour includes many scenic stops and numerous photo, hiking and fishing opportunities. This is a fully guided package for up to six people per boat. Visit the Ram River, Ram River Canyons, Battlement Creek, Moose Lookout, Nahanni Mountain and the Mackenzie and North Nahanni Rivers. Participate in cultural demonstrations at the lodge.
Depart Fort Simpson by jet boat on Monday and return Saturday by bush plane charter. Alternative departure dates can be arranged.
Please be advised that seasonal variations in water levels may require some adjustments to the trip itinerary.

Explore and photograph the Nahanni’s world class scenery with a renowned wildlife and landscape photographer. This is a fully guided seven night/eight day hobby photographers’ dream package that provides our guests with an opportunity to photograph the very best scenery the Nahanni has to offer, while honing their photography skills.
North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge plans to offer this package on two separate dates during the Summer of 2010. Please check back for information, pricing and availability in Spring 2009.

North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge designs and delivers customized Nahanni hiking packages. We offer fully guided, multi-day hiking excursions in the Nahanni Karstlands, Ram Plateau, Death Lake, Glacier Lake, Cirque of the Unclimbables and Virginia Falls areas. These packages are aircraft, heli and/or jet boat/canoe-assisted.

Wilderness Survival Training
North Nahanni Naturalist Lodge offers summer or winter-based wilderness survival training. Our survival courses cover the essential skills for anyone traveling in the backcountry with a combination of theory and practical field sessions.
Wilderness survival training is great for students, backpackers, recreationalists and families. Workers in a backcountry setting, such as geologists, biologists, forestry workers, parks and tourism staff and hunters who want to strengthen their backcountry skills and knowledge base are always welcome. The result is enhanced enjoyment, self-sufficiency and safety while out on the land. We can tailor a course to meet your group’s specific learning objectives.
